We spotted this little gem on our way home from uni. A grimey little alley near our house connecting streets with houses either side. It caught my eye one day as the sun was reflecting off the smashed glass all over the floor, I pointed it out to Grace and we thought it would be good to show entrapment and being enclosed. It also would allow us to execute a series of jump to camera shots and provide a long shot of movement that could be sped up.
There are three steps at the top of the alley and it is on a slight decline provided a good frame. The alley is paved with crappy concrete slabs and there is litter,glass and smashed up slab everywhere.
LOOK THREE.
This look is a basic replica of blouse and cropped trousers from Tempests graduate collection. We used a sort of Victoriana ruffled blouse and black tailoring cropped trousers. We tied the length of organza we used in look two around the waist to create a over sized puffy bow. The look was complete with bare feet and the same pale make up. We shot this scene at dusk so the make-up appears even more pale and alien in the light.
